Scope
This policy covers the Max Technologies website and the inquiries you send through it. Commercial services, assessments, and procurement engagements may be covered by separate agreements and terms.
Information we collect
When you submit an inquiry form, we collect the details you provide:
- Your name, company, and work email address.
- Inquiry details, such as software or vendor, quantity, renewal date, approximate endpoint count, and any message you write.
If you email or call us directly, we receive the information you choose to share in that communication.
How we use it
- To respond to your quote, assessment, or general inquiry.
- To prepare proposals and follow up on requests you started.
- To protect the website and its forms from abuse and spam.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used so we can improve it.
Consent and email communications
Submitting an inquiry provides your contact details so we can respond to that request. The website form does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.
Marketing email is separate from handling your inquiry. Where Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) applies, commercial electronic messages require an appropriate consent basis, sender identification, and an unsubscribe mechanism. An inquiry is not blanket permission for unrelated marketing.
Canadian privacy requests
Canadian privacy requirements, including PIPEDA where applicable, address meaningful consent, appropriate purposes, safeguards, and access to personal information. Other applicable provincial privacy laws may also apply.
For questions about our handling of your information, consent choices, or a privacy complaint, contact info@maxtechnologies.ca. If we cannot resolve a concern, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the relevant provincial privacy regulator.
Inquiry delivery and abuse protection
Form submissions are processed by our website server and delivered to the Max Technologies team as email through Resend, a third-party email delivery service.
To limit abuse, the server applies rate limits. These use hashed (one-way transformed) identifiers derived from technical information such as your network address and the email address you submit, rather than storing those values in plain form for this purpose.
Hosting and analytics
The website is hosted on Replit and uses Replit analytics and Google Analytics 4. Providers may process technical information such as page requests, browser details, and network addresses. Conversion events record successful inquiries, phone clicks, and completed Calendly bookings without form content or booking details.
We record limited website events, such as page views, contact link clicks, and whether an inquiry form was started, submitted, or failed. These events do not include the content you type into our forms.
Third-party services and links
Scheduling uses an embedded Calendly widget, which processes booking details under Calendly’s privacy policy. LinkedIn opens as an external service. Please review each provider’s privacy policies and terms before using their services.
Do not send sensitive information
Please do not include passwords, credentials, access keys, or sensitive incident evidence in website forms or email. If you have an urgent security concern, call us at 1-833-MAXTECH.
Access, correction, and deletion
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you have shared with us. We will review and respond to requests, subject to our legal and contractual obligations, which may require us to retain certain information.
